Oh, the shame....

I feel a little embarrassed about the rant that I unleashed in blog land on my previous post. Let's just suffice it to say that there was a lot of estrogen swirling about here and things were, well, just bound to get a little out of control......;) So by way of an apology, I have included some pictures of my fantabulous children. Here is our Mark "running with the bulls". No, not it Brazil, but down the streets of Kabowa, Uganda. He sent us a funny video with these bulls....the cars just drive on either side of them as they walk down the middle of the road. Mark is, in his words, "still kickin' it in the mission field". {{{so proud}}}} Here is our Cameron with his wife, Crystal. We miss them so bad!!!! Cam just got a new job that pays well and has good benefits. {{{so thankful}}} And our girls, Makenzie and Ragan...Beautiful. {{{happiness}}} May you all be blessed. Have a wonderful Thursday!!

Jo Anne, Have you read the book "I'll Love you forever?" If you haven't buy it and buy one for each of your kids! I'm such a sap, I can't read it without crying. Even my kindergarteners know that I cry when I read it to them "There goes Mrs. Frank crying again!" The 2 year old in the book is our favorite. ~Ann

LOL!!! I read this post and had to scroll down and read your last one. You have a beautiful family! SO do I...the rats...LOL, and the book ANN is talking about is a tear jerker! I have it, and it's one to read and then run hug your "babies" and swear undying love and devotion for the eternities! Sometimes a mom just has to rant and vent, it goes along with the stress.....and the estrogen....LOL...♥ Happy Easter

There is not a week that goes by that I don't have moments like you described. While reading it I had to laugh because that was me last week with my granddaughter (I have custody of her and she is a teenager) Doesn't mean I don't love her, but at any particular moment I don't like what she has done or said. Keep your chin up and smile. Smile and it makes people wonder what you are up to. LOL

I'm with Ann "Love you Forever" is a brilliant book! I must be hard hearted because it doesn't make me cry. In fact it makes me laugh! Wonderful sentiment in it. "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be." Of course, for us that's extended because we know who we are and where we are going! Eternal perspective helps, doesn't it?

Jo-Anne,
We all have our up's and down's and it's okay to complain. I think complaining helps get it out of your system and then you can focus on how good things really are. We have to have the "downs" to really appreciate the "ups" :)

Happy Easter!

We are all entitled to rant. that is why we have journals and blogs. You do have a beautiful family and I am convinced girls are harder then boys because of the hormones. My youngest is almost 3 and somedys I am very glad I am not having more. Good luck and Mark looks like he is having a blast.

Ranting is a woman's right. Goodness knows, I do it often enough.
Love the kids pics. They are all so gorgeous and look so happy....
You must be so proud!

Oh Jo-Anne...I had to go catch up on your last post. I think we all have those moments. I've only been there through the teenage years with my son and I know how challenging it can be! I always like to think "this (stage) too shall pass"!

Your family is beautiful!

I hope you all have a Blessed Easter!

You are so funny! There is no need to apologize. I agree we have blogs and journal for that very reason - of course a blog is a little more public than the journal, but oh, well.
