I'm a list maker

Anyone that knows me knows that I obsessively make lists of the things I need to do or accomplish. One might say that I am organized, but the fact of the matter is that I am very easily side tracked. My life is simplified with a list that I can refer to often! Another thing I like are rules. My children (and even my preschool students) have heard me refer to the "rules keep us safe" lecture series many times. I don't look at rules (well, most of them) as a way to stifle us or limit us, but to keep us going in the right direction. So, I happened to stumble across this list of rules and decided to make it into a little stitchery. The rules are; 1. be nice to others 2. think good thoughts 3. try to do better 4. say thankyou and please 5. smile often 6. be happy with what you have 7. listen to others 8. be helpful 9. speak kind words 10.never give up I hope, that as we go about our day today that we remember to be a little more pleasant, a little more cheerful and a lot more thankful. Have a great day everybody!

I love it! I'm stealing this idea and making one of my own! Thank you! :) Lunch was fun - maybe next time we can go somewhere else?

HI Joanne,

First a belate dHappy Birthday to Cameron! What handsome guy but more importantly, a good guy. You raised him well!

I am a rule and list maker too so I just love your stitchery. I feel exactly the same way you do about rules and I think kids actually thrive when they know the limits. How fortunate the kids at your preschool are to have such a wonderful teacher!!

Have great weekend!

hugs, Linda

I'm a lister as while. I think it drives Karl a little crazy, because the amount of time it takes me to write and rewrite my lists, I probably could have completed half the items on it!
