Happy Birthday Cameron!
Can it possibly be 22 years since you were born??? It seems like yesterday that your 18 year old parents sat in awe at the absolute wonder of you. I remember telling Daddy, "I just want him to feel good about himself and know that he is loved." I hope that we have accomplished that. You were such a cute baby. I used to wonder if everyone else thought you were as cute as I did. I took endless rolls of film to the store to be developed and then made everyone look at the pictures. As you grew you showed us just how caring and compassionate you were to others. Especially those with special needs. I will never forget the day we walked into your junior high and a group of special ed kids walked through the foyer. You high-fived everyone of them and called them by name. One even got a hug. As time went on and you struggled with your own special needs, we always knew what was in your heart. Despite the struggle, I was able to have profound spiritual experiences, like the time I knew in my heart that I was meant to be your mother. I am so grateful for you, Cameron. You continue to show me that life is a wonderful gift. I am thankful for the many things I have learned from you and the love you unceasingly show to your family and to all those around you. You are a special spirit with much potential. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. May you have many more!
