Words I Love to Hear.

There are just some words that us gals love to hear from the men in our lives, right? I have to admit, Craig says some pretty sweet things to me. He has funny little nick-names for me and tells me he loves me each and every day. However, the thing he says to me that makes my heart just leap with joy is, "Do you have anything you would like me to build for you?" (I know he knows that is the silliest thing he could ever ask, because I keep a never ending list.) Well, we have these wing back chairs, and while I like the "idea" and look of wing back chairs, the only one who thinks they are comfy is our cat, Rusty. My feet don't really reach the ground so I am always looking for something to put my feet up on. So.....he made me this. It is perfect for resting my legs on. I put a pillow on top for added comfort and I can stitch/crochet/read/ for as long as I want. And while he is out in the wood shop, I work on some of my Goodwill make overs. Here is a recent finish.
Have a wonderful day!

I think we all have those little phrases or questions that make our heart leap. That is a nifty little foot stool. You do have a keeper!

I think I would pass out if my Dh asked me that! You are one lucky gal - a hubby with 'guns' that wants to build you things! WOO HOO!

You gotta send that guy to my house for one weekend. I have a list myself and no carpenter to speak of--just a BIL who maybe will try to get around to it someday....*sigh*

Oh Honey, it would be a DREAM for me to have a chair that I couldn't reach the floor from... I'm almost 6 feet tall!

Your hubby is a keeper for sure (but you already knew that!) and I can so relate... Robyn is awesome too!

Have a great week my friend! Kimberly

Love that cupboard! Great job on the finish.

How nice of Craig to offer that! I have to prop my feet up also while I'm stitching.
