Honestly.....

Lewaina at the Old Stone House tagged me in a fun little game. I am supposed to tell you 10 things about myself..... It was a little difficult to decide what ten things to tell you as I am SUCH a multi-layered person, {{ahem}} and there is just SOOOO much to tell.....how could I possibly narrow it down to only 10.....but here goes. ;) 1. I absolutely HATE wearing a bra. I will not wear one unless I have to. And the list of "have to" places is quickly getting shorter. 2. I want to live on a farm, but since I married a city boy that will probably never happen. 3. I love shoes. They always fit and are always the same size. 4. I wish I had a maid....and a cook. 5. I miss grass like nobodies business. I have seen enough dirt and rocks to last me a few lifetimes. 6. I wish I would have had a few more children. 7. I will avoid vacuuming the stairs until I absolutely have to. 8. I haven't had a "real haircut" in about 9 months. 9. I would rather stay home than go shopping....(unless its to a thrift store of course! haha!) 10. I have enough fabric in my stash that if I never bought another piece, I probably still would never run out. (Oh...that's embarrassing!)

That was cute...I always thought I was crazy for wanting more than four kids but the youngest was 10lbs so I figured I needed to stop:)
Have a great day,
Rondell

...so what's number 10?

And since you're braless, I guess that's why your dog was wearing it yesterday? Ha! That picture just cracked me up!

It appears we have a few things in common. The second thing I take off when I get home is my bra. The first is my shoes. I loved pregnancy, delivery and raising children. I would still be having babies if possible but I had my tubes tied ( pressure from my parents and then husband ) in August 1976. My Sara was born April 30, 1977 ( and weighed 10# 12 1/2 ounces! ). She has always been the light of my life.
My absolute favorite place to shop is the thrift/Goodwill.
I, too, desire to live on a farm. My hubby was raised on one and my grandparents had a beautiful farm. But, our home here is paid for and we are in our 50's and don't really want a mortgage. We try to make our place as farm-like as we can! LOL
And I only clean/dust our family room when it becomes totally unbearable. It is our 'dog' room and where we watch tv, plus the entry to the house. You have to take off your shoes to go into the REAL house, so most people prefer to leave their shoes on and stay out in the family room. It gets more activity than any room in the house!
Have a super weekend.
Always look forward to your posts...

That was way fun to read. I love shoes, too. I have 50+ pair of them--now that's embarrassing. I want to live on a farm, too. And the fabric thing--I won't even got there. Hope you have a nice weekend. Julie

Well, I'm with you on the bra thing and the fabric thing! I think I am happy with the kid thing (For me, eight IS enough!). Oh, and for those who stopped when babies got big, they don't necessarily get bigger. My no. 6 was 11lbs 13oz, but no. 7 was only 9lbs and no. 8 was only 11lbs 4oz! I loved your list! It's fun!

You can add not wearing a bra to my house for VT on the list of don't have to's. Quite frankly I just don't care! I will go for the maid & cook idea! Right on Sister!
