A day of spandex....
Saturday we spent the day at Ragan's volleyball tournament. It was her first one for this years club season. Club volleyball is for all the athletes that would like to improve their game during the school off season. This year Ragan made the #1 fifteens team. There will be some significant traveling during the club season. Unfortunately, I still don't really know my way around the state of Arizona yet. Craig's indoor track season is in full swing so Ragan and I usually go it alone....but this year, Makenzie wont be working Saturdays so she can come with us! Makenzie is also the proud owner of a GPS system so I am a little less worried about finding my way to and from safely. :)
Between Mark, MAkenzie and Ragan, I have attended hundreds of volleyball games. At everyone, I am always grateful for the fact that there is absolutely NO reason under Heaven that I will ever have a reason to wear spandex.
Ragan did some warming up.......
Some playing........

Great pics Jo-Anne! YOu look so proud!
(I'm even taller than my dad... but I think he's starting to shrink! I can't wait till that happens to me!!)
Hey Girl!!, Nice to see that someone else sticks
"proud parent" pictures of their kids playing sports on their Blog!!
I just love looking at all of the beautiful quilts that you make. Something that I'm not talented at in any way.
I'm pretty sure it would not look like a quilt if I tried to make one!!!
Yea, I'm definitely with you on the whole spandex thing. But then if I looked that good there might be pictures all over my blog of spandex!
Amen on the spandex!! That made me smile. I will stick with the yoga pants and sweats!! have a great time at all your games. Take care----Julie
Yea, the spandex - I always wondered why they started making the volleyball players where such short/tight bottoms. Luckily it was after my time! And we are going to hundreds of basketball games right now - nod to a fellow bleacher butt mom!
I've meant to tell you that I really like the way your blog is presented now with the decorative elements. Very Nice!
What a fun day! I know you were proud, Jo-Anne! And is Ragan really that much taller than you? :)
Tammy
Noticed your name on another blog and decided to pop over and say "hello" since I'm a Jo Anne too--and there aren't that many of us.
Funny how connections are made across multiple blog sites.
You and your daughter look beautiful. Lucky you.
I'd love to tag along sometime to cheer for Ragan! Although you and I together may get a little rowdy!
It would be so nice to have games to go to. We used to love the kids sports. Your dd is beautiful.....
LOL Oh I hear ya on that spandex!! Jenny lived in it during those 15 years of dance. It is so unforgiving!!
It is such a blessing to be able to watch our kids doing something they love. I can see the pride in your smile.
Go Ragan! I know you ahve GPS, but if you ever need help with the Phx region, that is where I grew up and can help you around! I need to find out when her practices are so I will know when I can get my baby sitter to come over!!
