Meet Macy, daughter of Maggie. She is a beauty. A bit on the nervous side, but quick to warm up to you....especially if you give her a treat. And if you ever need a cuddle, she's your gal.
This is Sunshine, the mother of Rusty. Little miss Sunshine is very shy. We believe it is a result of her losing her way home after a long walk-about. She was gone for two and a half years before finding her way back to us. We are thankful she did. Makenzie prayed every night for her to come home.....you can't tell me that prayers aren't answered.
And, last but not least, this is Rudy. Despite his Halloween costume, this old boy is no angel. In fact, when you're not looking, he goes straight for the garbage can. He has, however been able to squeeze a lot of love for us into his almost 14 years. And, in turn, we have given it back to him. He also loves everybody. Just sit by him on the couch and you'll see...he will lay his head on your lap and let you stroke his ears.
I am so thankful for their example of unconditional love. It helps me better understand the kind of love our Heavenly Father has for us.
Now, if I could only think of a way to harness the energy of dog poop.......
:)

Awww such sweet pets. They do give us unconditional love, don't they?
How funny I just posted about being grateful for our pets. We lost our dog a year ago, and seeing all your pictures is making me wistful for a dog.
Jo-Anne, you got quite a few awwwws from me and Emily for those pics!
Oh, how cute...they are great aren't they? I don't know what I'd do without Buster, such a sweetheart.
Thanks for your comment on my blog...Buster was great for comforting me:0

I love your pets...they are so sweet! I would love to own a Lab but due to my husband being highly allergic to them we will settle for our mini-poodle. She is the best dog that we could ever ask for. She has never bit anyone, does not growl and is the most loving dog ever. You said it all about them...they have so much LOVE to give and are never mad at you. They are there to greet you every time you come home with so much excitement. I would have a house full of dogs if I could but due to hubby's health we are limited. But I sure do love my baby girl. She knows how to win our hearts :)

Hello Jo-Anne; I so love your Photos of your Fur Babies. I have two doggies girls and they are a very loving pair too. Thanks for sharing your pets.

Awwww. What a great menagerie you have! And 2 1/2 years???? That's amazing!
I just have to agree. In fact, our dog is the FIRST to greet me when I get home. She never licks me because she knows that I don't like it, but I get a good tail wag!! Yea--that dog poop thing---wish I could invent something...LOL!!! I went to a quilt group tonight and had to show off your wonderful wall-hanging. They all LOVED it as much as I do. Thanks again. Julie
People who make silly comments about us because we have so many dogs are just that-silly. They know nothing about unconditional love. Your pets are great. I could love them, too.
Oh how I miss Rusty. Sierra even remembered him.
