An Award, and a Great Find

I received another award from my blogging friend Mary. She is just the most generous gal! She has a really fun blog so you should pop on over and look at all her fun pictures. The rules for receiving this award are: 1) Put the logo on your blog. 2) Add a link to the person who awarded you. 3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs. Well, I just can't pick seven so I will say that anyone reading this gets my vote for this award. I have so much fun reading and looking at all the fun things people are doing and making. There is so much inspiration to be had! I also found this wonderful site and wanted to share.... It seems we all take the time to sit at our computer but don't always take the time to read the scriptures. This site will email you scripture passages on a schedule that you create. As soon as you are done, you will be emailed some more. You can even click on the audio button and have the scriptures read to you. How great is that??!!? That's the ultimate in multi tasking, if you ask me! http://www.readthescriptures.com/ There is a GREAT give away at Tammy's. She just opened an Etsy shop. As much as it pains me to send you all her way as it lessens my chance of winning, I will do it anyway because she is such a sweet lady. I really would like to see her be successful in this new endeavor. Today is Ragan's first day of High School. She is so excited she can hardly stand it!

I hope Ragen has a wonderful first day!!! Thanks for the link - I will defintely be using that!
Kyra can't stop talking about your kitty cat. She is just so thrilled that she gets to go to preschool with a cat. I'm trying to figure out exactly what she thinks the cat will be doing in preschool, but regardless of what it is, she is excited!

O.k. - First: I'm jealous that you get to have Kyra come to your Pre-school! She's so adorable! Secondly: High School! I loved High School - Hope Ragan had a good day! Third: Loved the Scripture Link!

Thank you for your nice, comforting comments on my blog. I feel much better now after all the love and support from other bloggers and yourself. So sorry you guys have to suffer from migraines at your house. It is the pits. :(
Have a great rest of your weekend. By the way, I love your home. So beautiful!

Congrats on the award, and thanks for the scripture link. I will have to go and check it out. I was scrolling through your blog and found the post about your son going on a mission. Both times I found out I was having a boy, the first thing I thought of was how hard it would be to send them on a mission someday, even though there is no better place for them to be. You have a darling family.

Hi Jo-Anne! Of course I remember you :o) only I didn't know you were into quilting/fabric/etc. (but then I wasn't into quilting back when we worked together at AAK). Now I own a machine quilting business. We live in Southcentral utah in a very small town. Todd is a marriage and family therapist at a residential treatment center for troubled teens.

Sorry you had to find my blog on the day I was complaining. I'm actually quite happy with my life...I just had a bad day.

Do you know Nicole from Our Cozy Nest? She was my neighbor for four years in Logan.

I can't believe how your kids have grown--especially Ragan. I think she was four when I last saw her. I hope Mark is doing better. How exciting to have a missionary!

We live in a very small town in the middle of nowhere (southcentral utah) where Todd works as a marriage and family therapist at a residential treatment center for troubled teens (Aspen Ranch).

I started a machine quilting business 5 years ago in Logan, and am still doing it here.
