Another Scrap-buster

I had a bin full of various fabric strips that was driving me crazy. In the past, I used the strips to border stitcheries that I would make into pillows and sell. Since I am not doing that anymore, I decided to connect them all and make a rag rug for my laundry room. I saw a couple of rag rugs here in blog world and thought I would try my hand at making one. I had enough strips to make into 3 balls about the size of a soccer ball. (pathetic, I know....) I washed it so it would get all string-y and primitive looking. It was fun and easy to make.

You did a great job...but I expected no less! :) Looks good in your laundry room...are you going to attempt more?

You're talent and the fact that you are so non-chalant about it amazes me!!!! If I could only have half the talent in your little pinky :-)

That was a great story. I'll have to remember that next time we move (I'm hoping never). I'm glad to see that other people share in my obsession, therapy, and joy of all things creative! I love the rug too and it's made me remember that I have one I need to finish. Just too many fun things to do!
