I had a bin full of various fabric strips that was driving me crazy. In the past, I used the strips to border stitcheries that I would make into pillows and sell. Since I am not doing that anymore, I decided to connect them all and make a rag rug for my laundry room. I saw a couple of rag rugs here in blog world and thought I would try my hand at making one. I had enough strips to make into 3 balls about the size of a soccer ball. (pathetic, I know....)
I washed it so it would get all string-y and primitive looking. It was fun and easy to make.

You did a great job...but I expected no less! :) Looks good in your laundry room...are you going to attempt more?
That was a great story. I'll have to remember that next time we move (I'm hoping never). I'm glad to see that other people share in my obsession, therapy, and joy of all things creative! I love the rug too and it's made me remember that I have one I need to finish. Just too many fun things to do!

Hey there! I am so glad you stopped by! Allow me to introduce myself..........................I'm Jo-Anne, a skinny girl living in a chubby body. I currently live in Arizona where my dear hubby is a coach at the local University. Living here has kicked my 40-something year old sweat glands into overdrive!!!........... I am a mother of four----all practically grown up---- children. They are my greatest blessing! ...............I enjoy thrift store shopping and fabric hoarding. I hope you enjoy your visit here with me as you read about my life's journey. Be sure to let me know that you stopped by! Leave me a comment........ ;) ;) Take care!!

You're talent and the fact that you are so non-chalant about it amazes me!!!! If I could only have half the talent in your little pinky :-)
