Grandmother's Flower Garden
I was able to find a partially finished grandmother's flower garden quilt top on ebay awhile back. In it's present state I couldn't use it. I decided to take it apart and make a beautiful table runner. (watch for it in a future post!) I had 7 blocks left over. The dilemma began to decide what to do with them....
I thought I might like to frame them but could never find frames that were just the right size, price, etc.
I just happened to be at a goodwill store one day and saw these frames. The only problem was that the frames and the mats were 1985 blue. AND, they were $12.99 a piece. I hesitated....looked closer....noticed that they had been marked down to $2.99 a piece. WOO HOO! Grabbed 'em!
Since I've been known to spray paint a few things in my life, I figured spray paint would solve the color situation. I liked the way they turned out.
Now.....where to hang them???
I also have 5 blocks left. Any suggestions as to what I should do with them?
I look forward to your thoughts!
Have a fabulous day!

I love what you have done here! You have mentioned a few different things that you have gotten at thrift shops and you are inspiring me that I need to get out there and shop them more often. I LOVE a good bargain!
