What have you been up to?

I don't know about you but I will tell you what I've been up to.
Sweating.
That's right. Profuse, full body sweats.
I know.....I know.....That's disgusting and you really didn't need to nor want to read about it, but I am all about sharing, people.
All.about.sharing.

I would also like to share a little sneak peek of a swap that I did with Julie from Country Girl at Heart.
She is so fun to swap with! If you ever get a chance to swap with her it will be well worth your time! :)
We did a patriotic swap this time.....here's just a little snippet of something I made her.
I hope you like it Julie....it should be arriving any day!

I have also sewn together a quilt top made of the layer cake that I won from Nicole over at Our Cozy nest. I haven't finished it up yet because I am working on my end of my swap with Tisha at Loafer Mountain Primitives.....fun fun fun!!
Thank goodness sewing machines don't sweat because I am certainly giving mine a workout.
(HEY. Better it than me......)

you crack me up but I know from where you speak. In the winter, it can be a plus-lol..... but, hey, I am sweating in Iowa, too!
BTW-Tish passed by my house this week and we didn't even know she would be. Next time, we will get our plans laid out for a meet!

And Burlington is 35 miles from me---Cedar Rapids about 90 minutes---Iowa City 45 minutes---Des Moines 2 hours..... .Just in case you ever get the chance!

I guess that means your sewing machine was fixed (I have been out of the loop a little bit). Sounds like some fun sewing adventures at your house.

PS - I am right there with you on the sweating - & I don't do anything but lay around right now!!!! Unbelieveable

That made my heart pitter-patter. I am so excited!! I hope you get yours tomorrow---I love to swap with you too, Jo-Anne--thanks for the kind words. Hope you are finding air conditioning now and then :)!!!

Happy Summer--even if it means sweat :)

From the way it looks I am loving your patriotic swap quilt!

It has been hot and humid here though I'm sure nothing like what you have.
