Monday, Monday....

I really love Mondays. We always get an email from our missionary Monday morning. They are always funny and very uplifting. There are times I look forward to hearing from him so much that I can't sleep Sunday night!
Those of you that read my blog on a regular basis know that he is serving a church mission in Uganda. He has been there for 13 months. He will be home in December and we are very excited to have him home again.
But, I am so proud of him. Proud of his willingness to serve the Lord and bring people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Although he working very hard, he always makes time for a little fun......
Here he is walking down the street with a couple of bulls that are just wandering through town.
Also, Mondays are the days that I prepare for preschool. That's always fun for me to prepare for all the things I will do with the little kiddos. The little ones sure do bring me a lot of joy!
I like to clean my house on Mondays, too. This morning when I got up, I decided that I should clean the blinds in my living room and dining area. I had been putting them off for far too long. (doesn't procrastination always seem like a good idea in the beginning?) They were dis.gus.ting. They were not only covered in dust, but more fly specks than I care to mention. Oh, this cursed desert that I live in!
It ended up being a bigger job than I anticipated, but it's done. Thank goodness. I will be putting off the rest of the blinds for a while longer, though....at least the ones that company can't see! haha!
Okay--I'm off for now....
I hope you all enjoy your Monday! :):):)

I know that you can hardly wait until December. I'd be counting the days for sure. Mondays are busy for you. I don't even like dusting blinds. At least you have the living room and dining rooms clean.

That is why I switched to matchstick blinds. Just vacuum them off.
Isn't that funny? When we were just renting( when I was raising the kids by myself ) we moved when the windows got dirty! LOL Places were so much cheaper back then. Then I bought our first house and things became so much more important to all of us. It was really our house and our home!
I adore the picture of Mark. He has grown so much. He must be brave to walk so close to those horns! Glad you have such good contact with him and his mission!

Happy Monday. Bailey is so excited to be in class tomorrow. Mondays are almost too hard for her to handle with her sisters going off to school and her having to stay home. Glad you got one of your to do list projects done. It is always such a great feeling to accomplish that. Also, glad to hear that Mark continues to do well. There still isn't a prayer or blessing that go by in our household that he isn't prayed for.

HAHA MArk walking with the bulls too funny.

That's exactly why I don't use blinds or I buy really cheap and throw them away and buy new. LOL

Loved the photo of your missionary! I remember p-day emails with much affection. (Of course on Temple Square the day changed every 6 weeks!) Can't believe that 13 months have gone by! Time is flying!
