I've been TAGGED

I have been tagged by my sweet blogging friend, Mary, from Gettysburg Homestead. 1.I was asked to name 5 things that I do for myself: a. Get up early and go to bed early b. Read for about an hour every day (when I get up early) c. Drink lots of water d. Peruse thrift stores on a semi-regular basis e. Sew and craft 2.Name 5 kind things I do for friends, my children or partner: a. Make sure Craig's clothes are all washed before he has to pack for a track meet b. Pray for my family's health, well being and safety every day c. Stop what I am doing when someone needs to talk to me d. Surprise them with things I know they like (most recent, 2 big boxes of Otter Pops)lol e. Try to be 100% supportive of my husbands job, even though it takes him away from us so much. 3.Name 5 kind things I've done for a strangers: a. Participate in Humanitarian projects every chance I get b. Tell the grocery store baggers thank you and that they did a wonderful job. c. Smile and say hello to people I don't know d. Let someone with fewer items than me go before me in the check out line e. Make an effort to remember that everyone is a child of God and should be treated as such. 4.Name 5 hobbies I enjoy: a. Crafting/sewing b. Wood working c. Blogging d. Re-purposing items found while thrifting e. Teaching preschool....I know, not really a hobby, but I have so much fun doing it, it hardly seems like a job. :) These questions were harder to answer than I anticipated. But thanks for tagging me, Mary....It was interesting to soul search a little bit! :):):) So, if I have to tag 5 people, I will tag.... 1. Cori G. from familywithfivekids 2. Lera from The Sky is Pink 3. Erin from Girlwithcurlz 4. Sara from The Adams Family 5. Andrea from Neapolitan Treasures Play at your own discretion!

Aww I love your answers - it is so much like what I do. Right now David isn't traveling as much, but he has always traveled and most recently for 18 months he was going to Chicago 3 days a week to work and I packed for him and put notes in his suitcase. And even though I hated it, I smiled!! Absence makes the heart grow fonder doesn't it?

I hope you and your family are having a wonderful weekend.

hugs, Linda

Hi ther! I enjoyed your meme! And yes, I've been enjoying Etsy! I didn't know what to expect. I have heard good and bad stories. I just love it! Nothing but great things about Etsy. I would recommend doing it. It's easy once you get your shop opened up.

Thanks for letting know about yourself and your daughter considering the maxillary frenum. It's nice to know success stories. I'm not too worried about it.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

As I was reading this I thought, "Man, this would be hard to do." And then I see you tagged me. I will attempt this when I am not back on my heavy meds (I had to start back up last night). Maybe then I'll have a clearer head :-)

Wow - so cool you moved to England! Have you ever been back? My mom's dad was from England and everyone says I am his spitting image with my fair skin, round cheeks, and blue eyes. They lived in an old victorian house with leaded windows and glass knobs etc.

So you started sewing when you were a tyke - no wonder you are so good at it now! I did too but I get so frustarted with the little details. I will admire your projects instead!!

hugs, Linda
